About stacie
By growing up in a family with feet in three camps - Christianity, Catholicism and
secularism, I've come to understand better the likenesses as well as
differences. It wasn't until my early 20's that I began to wonder at the
God I grew up with and how He fit into my wreckless lifestyle or if He fit
at all. My 30's brought many instrumental people into my life, wise
mentors who opened my eyes to a God I never knew but always hoped existed.
After experiencing a mammoth paradigm shift, I have made a deliberate
decision to devote my life to sharing the great news about God that I
could not find in the currents of mainstream Christianity growing up. These precious mentors encouraged me in my revelatory journey that now experiences a new picture of God, one that had been hidden from me in the folds of a traditional religious mindset.
In a retrospective glance, I can now admit to a confusing upbringing without the blameful attitude, and instead be grateful that from that confusion, God has brought clarity. This clarity has helped me to identify common denominators with many people who struggle with the same conflicting issues.
Today, I enjoy working with the Hs.com team, a refreshing circle of men
and woman with wonderfully diverse backgrounds. The growth I've
experienced in the midst of such inspiring personalities, is beyond
measure! The ministry has allowed room for me to explore my desire to
help build bridges between men, woman and children of all backgrounds and
to find common threads that connect - not divide.
Today, I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me and those I come to meet along the way; I can look back without wincing. That really has to be the most powerful testament to His healing hand - not wincing when I think of where I've been because I'm too busy now thinking of where I've yet to go.
