i have been anti-obama for two years now. Very verbal when given the opportunity. I've been on the 'not native born' 'socialists agenda' 'lieing chicago thug' politician. i've protested in the streets of my home town against him, even made the front page of our local newspaper. I've even shown people that his wife is a racist, pure and simple! My friends and fam tell me i need to chill, that God is in ultimate control. Which i do belive, i just get caught up in the whole thing. I rejoiced at his recent ratings pole! He's going down!

well, last night on kcet, they had the special music award (Gershwin) ceremony for Paul Mcartney. It was held at the White House. Paul sat right next to Barak, who was next to his wife then his kids. Well, it was a music delight. I of course thought 'how dare they spend tax payer money on Paul Mcartney, not to mention all the other artests that were there to honor him.

anyway, my blood was a little hot, not much tho, when Paul finally got up to say thanks and do a few songs to close out the evening. He said that he wanted to sing his first song just for the president and his wife. So Paul, with his gentile voice, sang 'Michelle my belle'' .

Of course the camera focused right away on Barak and his wife Michelle and their kids.This , i believe , was Gods doing. Barak looked directly at Michelle, the biggest simile came over his face, i've never seen him smile this huge! it looked very genuine and sincere and full of love and admiration for his wife. She didnt even look at him! he just kept looking at her with that adoring smile. My heart broke. I fell in love with him right then and there, It was the most beautiful exhibition a 'man in love' that i've ever seen. I couldnt help but cry for him. She seemed to not even notice. He acted so in love!

He finally decided, it appeared, to let his children be the recipients of his overflowing joy and just kept smiling at them and then leaned over to them and said a few words. He was obviously on cloud nine. Michelle eventually lookd at him and smiled too. He was like a kid at disneyland for the first time. It was very very touching. 2 years of madness disappeared in an instant.

, it's been about 15 hours since i experienced this transformation in my heart towards him. Of course, everytime i have an experience such as this, where my heart seems to be re-created, i cant help but imagine what it will be like on a macro level. My mind always transports me to the final judgment, when all will be in the presence of God , when thousands times thousands of angels will be singing some kind of a song, a song much more powerful than Michelle my belle.

Theres just no way even a molecule of hate can survive that. I can see hate will immediately vanish and give way love and admiration . It will be too overwhelming.

It's a wonderful thing when hate and prejudice finally dissolve, isn't it? Glad you've had a transformation.

hey stranger! your so right. My political spirit (if there is such a thing) my daily attitude around my friends, is much more gentle and positive since that night. It was similar to my renewed heart event about illegal immigration a couple years ago.

I am convinced it is time for all true Christians to abandon political parties and stop allowing idealologies to contaminate our mission. Fact: everybody on this planet is a victim. It is therefore tragic when Christians allow their political views to contaminate their spiritual life; especially, when Satan sucks his prey into his immoral, moral mirage agenda. He deceives humanity into thinking that they are taking the spiritual high road, when in reality, it is the carnal low road. Hatred is justified and rationalized as godliness. It is extremely dangerous ground to be treading on.
