Hello everyone that has become part of this community, I just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. I also was thinking about my good friend Marco, and miss having him around, and thought I would send a special shout out to my friend, whom I am very proud of for all he has accomplished. Cheers Bro.

Hey, welcome back! Don't be a stranger.
Actually, I'm surprised the sight is still up. I thought Marco was going to have it down and on the way to L.A. by now! :8

Donkey Spoong!!!! :-)
Well, as of right now I'm sitting in a hotel room in San Jose and about to go to bed and get up at 7:00 AM on Sunday to move our servers from here to Los Angeles. It's a pretty big deal with a lot of technical mumbo jumbo I won't bore you with.
You probably won't even see my reply for about 24 - 36 hours unless you happen to check the forums before morning.
Sooooo... when you do SEE this, TELL ME HOW YOU ARE!!! What are you doing? How is marriage? Share your new ideas - don't worry - they won't scare me ;-)
Love you, man!
- Marco
PS: No, you guys are a day early! The site will be down starting 8:00 AM on Sunday. I transport them back to Los Angeles on Sunday - they stop by my house for some configuration changes and will then be delivered to our new co-location facility at IX2 on Monday morning (also around 8:00 AM).

Im doing awesome, this past year has been nuts, In August I busted up my hip and ruptured my spleen in the same week, from that I got super sick because of a blood infection called endocarditis, which destroyed my aortic valve. So as a result I had my second open heart surgery in November and now Im finally back to about 90%. I had to drop out of my classes in October because of my health, now I am apprenticing as a tattoo artist.
My wife is amazing. Marriage is such a blessing, it reveals your slefishness very clearly. Im thankful Jayne has a gentle heart and can deal with my BS (yes its capitalised for a reason).
My new ideas, hmmm.

wow!! thats quite a bit to go through!!
humility is not to be confused for an empty vessel. humility does not parade its knowledge but rather sits at the feet of Jesus, never arriving, ever learning.

Dion,
What many don't realize is that you've got enough credits to probably complete three degrees!
How close were you to completing your philosophy degree? Plans on finishing? Don't be like me and drop out! GET IT DONE WHEN YOU CAN!
Speaking of tattoos - I always wanted to get a big full spread picture done on my back of that old Ellen White photograph on Steps to Christ - you know the one - where Jesus is knocking on the window of the United Nations? He's like the same size as the building...
That'd be pretty expensive, though ;-) Not to mention I hate needles.
Ok, share some thoughts - let's get a conversation going!

Hi Dion,
Can't believe you had open heart surgery...twice. Why did we not know this???? Okay, I'll kick your butt later and hug you now
Tatooing? Cool. My 16 yr old would love to meet you. I told her to wait till she's 18 and then wait till she's 30. She just rolls her eyes. Oh well.
I'm glad to hear you and Jayne are doing well...married life is interesting isn't it? Marco and I have learned a ton about ourselves in the last 2 yrs. Its like this, when you are single and no kids - you rank your finer attributes as patient, kind, and understanding er, at least I did... until now.

All I can say is God is Good!
Love you!

Stacie I had one surgery in 98, and had the second in November. Had a congenital heart defect, so a bum heart to begin with. Married life is no other exitence in the world.
Marco I know the picture you want, once Im good enough its yours free of charge. Yah I I do hav ea ton of credits in everything from theology, philosophy, counselling, pyschology, anthropology, Philosophy, outdoor adventure counselling etc, etc.
I have one and a half years left to finish my double major in Philosophy and Indigenous Studies. I will finsh when its time, right now Im a broke joke and tattooing will help accomplish that objective of completing my degrees.
Some thoughts, well I have been doing some reading in atheist arguments for atheisim it seems more and more latley it has stopped being about none belief in God and more about atheistic evangelism. But it seems hard not to want to persuade people to your way of thinking. Dawkins and the atheistic trinity seem to be pontificating from the soap box of science. More particularily Darwinism and evolution via random genetic mutation.
I think that soap box is beat down and worn out. It is a symbol of the Western mechanistic worldview which is begining to show its true colors in terms of its impact on humanity, other species and the world at large. We I think can judge theories ways of doing things by there outcomes, and the results, the evidence is in my opinion that the western mechanistic worlview has had its day, and we have to look at alternative, that no doubt include this way of seeing the world, but that dont exclude every other.
Anyways there are some random thoughts.
Cheers
