Lines Lines and More Lines |
| From the time we are born we find our identity in contrast to others. The world is divided by family lines, race lines, cultural lines, gender lines, and, yes, even denominational lines. Is Christ divided? Does Christ’s gospel have the power to tear down the partitions between us and other? Remember that when Christ came into the family of Abraham, 2000 years ago, He invited the whole world into Abraham’s family! Can anything contain God without bursting? |

One Another |
| If you were to put end to end all of the “one another” texts in the New Testament you would be amazed at God’s vision for His church. How do Christians treat each other? Jesus said that the world would know that we are Christian by the way we treat each other. The world is watching us to see if Jesus has the power to change us. If we put on a show they will know, because only a genuine right relationship with God and to each other can and will expose us to the benefits of the Spirit and relate to the world the love of God. |

The Mind of Christ |
| This is the second part of the sermon, “The Carnal Nature”. We discovered that our carnal nature, the one we were all born with, is at war with God and believes the lie that God is our enemy. Once we discover that God has never had anything against us and that the whole problem of sin is our misconceptions of God we realize that God is our friend and Lover! Are you ready to put down your defense knowing God is your friend? If so your life is about to change! |

How Much is Enough? |
| How much can you take before you cry out to God, “Why, Lord, why is this happening to me?” How do you handle life choices when crisis strikes and God doesn’t seem to be available? Ever been tempted to blame God for your trials? Hidden in the book of Job we have some real answers! Ever realize that God treats His friends the same as His enemies? |

Outrageous Forgiveness |
| What does God’s forgiveness look like? Can we forgive like God does? Unwillingness to forgive destroys our lives and holds us in bondage unable to experience the freedom God wants us to enjoy. Jesus established a kingdom of forgiveness and invites us all in to receive and offer to others His forgiveness, peace, and rest. |

The Carnal Mind |
| What is in us that keep us from experiencing the victory over our sins? What does it mean to have a carnal mind? Do we consider God our friend or our enemy? Can changing our mind about God really change our lives? Is the gospel story really the “power of God” to change our carnal natures and free us from condemnation? Let’s explore these ideas together! |
