Maranatha Family Centre

We’d like to make you aware of a wonderful ministry, the Maranatha Family Centre (MFC), a registered church and charity organization in Kenya. Their mission is to show God’s love to hurting souls and to help children in difficult circumstances. Their orphanage takes care of children who are abandoned, neglected, sexually, physically, emotionally, and psychologically abused, orphaned, street children and children with disabilities. MFC’s desire is to tailor to the need of each child and provide food, shelter, clothing, education, health care, guidance and spiritual wellness by exposing them to God’s love. Since 2004 MFC staff has worked hard to support the orphanage and they now have a nursery and pre-unit classes for children who are below six years of age. They offer sewing classes for youths who are out of school, which have provided several girls with the opportunity to get better paying jobs and some of those girls are now self employed. The center is registered with the Kenyan government and authorized to care for orphans....

There are approximately 50 children (ages 0-12) who require monthly sponsorship to ensure their health and safety. Sadly, some of the orphans at MFC have died and this is noted on their photos in the Image Gallery found on the website below. More orphans are on the waiting list to join MFC.It costs about $40 per month to sponsor one child per month.
