Servant to All

The unfortunate reaction to Lars' painting is a wake-up call to us all I believe. Greg Boyd is just one part of a groundswell of reaction to our previous ill-conceived views of God. The God of the Universe wants His true character to be known, and it will be known. The earth will be lightened with His glory.

The best part of the story was this: A man from the Christian college that gave us the boot innocently called a few days before the conference asking if he could set up a booth representing the theology department (he was out of the loop and had no idea that his college had asked us to leave). So, we allowed him to have a booth. There was something very nice about having the presence of a booth at our conference advertising for the college that didn't want us. And, it was cool that the man who was there said "This is some amazingly good stuff you guys are talking about here! Not at all what I expected."

To bad he doesn't have his Q&A or apologetics parts to his website up.  I wanted to know what his new take was after converting from atheism to Christianity.  I honestly don't know how an atheist can do it.  Either they weren't an atheist for very long, and it didn't get very grounded in their worldview.....or...... something.  But anyway it sounds like he still has a little bit of atheist in him:

Yeah that is definitely his atheist side speaking.  It's not too late for him yet! :) I don't understand what a warfare worldview is though..... :

Hi Tweek - our beloved atheist.

I'd give just about anything if you would just sit down and read everything Greg Boyd has written. He makes as compelling a case for moving from Atheism to Theism as anyone I have ever seen.   Pretty PLEASE!!!! You can get them all used on the web for cheap. Hey, how about this! If you read them, we'll buy them for you. Deal? Send me your address in a personal e-mail.
