Whoever Humbles Himself...

Sometimes evidence can be relieving, other times it can easily unleash compunction. The truth about God is enough to get the rivers of cognitive dissonance raging and that is exactly
what happened when HS.com advertised for the upcoming Good News Tour Portland slated for November. On October 3, our eleven ads were removed from six regional malls over our objection because they were "controversial." This came as a surprise since the ads were already approved and paid for. Local television and radio stations featured the story with accompanying polls asking the public if the picture was offensive enough to be removed. Poll percentages revealed that most voters were in favor of the posters and the message they conveyed.
The Good News Tour, at the Oregon Convention Center on November 2 and 3, will answer the burning questions about what still remains to be "world-flipping" revolutionary about God's methods. The picture of God washing the feet of notable worldly leaders does not represent a doormat god who tunes out evil but rather, depicts a responsible God,a deliberate God,a trustworthy God who uses principles that serve eternal solutions to dire earthly circumstances. "How very rich are God's wisdom and knowledge! How he judges is more than we can understand! The way he deals with people is more than we can know!" -Romans 11:33
