God's Boundaries

Twenty years ago, the Edwards family went on an outing to Fort Clatsop on the Pacific Ocean. Dad came around a corner to see his son Chris walking back and forth on top of a rickety old fence—showing off. No problem, right? No, except that the fence was next to a 200 foot cliff! Dad walked away, calling Chris to come look at something. Chris jumped down and ran to Dad. As soon as Chris was off the fence, Dad said, “Chris, don’t you ever do that again! You nearly scared me to death.” That was the day the Edwards family got a new boundary. A “new commandment” if you will. It was now against the rules to walk on a rickety old fence 200 feet above the ocean rocks.

What do God’s boundaries look like? What prompts God to proclaim boundaries? To hear Pastor Bill Edwards break it down, click here

I have a question for Psychiatrist Tim Jennings, MD, and have noticed a comment from him on this site. I believe my cousin may have borderline personality disorder. She fits the criteria in the DSM-IV. She practically is in denial that anything is wrong with her. How does one approach this with her? She may be able to qualify for Social Security Disablility. I have been told by a Christian Counselor that BPD is very difficult to treat. Is this true? I have to put distance and space with her in order to cope with her many qualifying criteria. My cousin is female and 51 years of age. She is also a SDA christian.

Does anyone know if Dr. Jennings has email? I looked for his Psychiatric Foundations website, but it has been disabled?

Thanks,
Kim
PS: Sorry I was not on topic this time.
