The Case of the Unfounded Premise

What do you get when you mix anesthesiology, theology and a great friend of God? A great article that won't put you to sleep! The author of today's featured article, Bob Rigsby, hails from Florida. Next to his work as an anthesiologist, he enjoys contributing to several periodicals such as Adventist Today, Spectrum and Adventist Review.Bob writes," Much of my adult life was spent at various times as an atheist or agnostic, despite the fact that I continued to attend church. This church attendance was mostly just cultural inertia. Those around me assumed I was a Christian. If I was, it was perhaps the worst kind though; an indifferent one. For reasons and in ways known only to God, I began to awaken in my late 30s (summer of 1994). My years away from God however paradoxically served me well. They have opened my eyes to the oddness of certain Christian doctrines. It was honest questions and criticisms that brought me back to God for I had discovered that often, the agnostics and atheists actually have their points to make."
Has Christianity been perverted by Satan's sophistry? The wrong premise equals the wrong promise! Bob Rigsby provokes us to take a look at our original assumptions. For great insight on how to break free from old paradigms check out Bob's article here
