Like Father, Like Son

In the book, "Desire of Ages," the author shares some pretty wonderful news, "By coming to dwell with us, Jesus was to reveal God both to men and to angels. He was the Word of God,--God's thoughts made audible." p.19. When we read about how Jesus acted when He walked among men, women, and children 2,000 years ago, we are reading exactly how God acted 2,000 years ago and is still acting today - with great tenderness.God is calling all unto Him, not just "one nation under God" but the entire world, into a deep and meaningful friendship.

I'd like to recommend a sermon series you can listen to online conducted by Randy Roberts, senior pastor at the Loma Linda University church. The series is titled, "Tell Me Who Your God is and I'll You What Your Life's Like." If you live in the Loma Linda area you can come visit in person and hear the last message of mercy that was intended to be exclaimed to every tribe, tongue and nation - the message that shines a light on the truth about God, that He is indeed the Author of life, love and liberty.
