Paradigm Shift

We have another poet in our midst - Ty Gibson. Ty will be one of the speakers for the Good News Tour this next weekend (June 16 & 17) here in Redlands, California.
This poem describes how one's view of God can rapidly change once he or she understands that the Creator is the cure for a hurting world and that doesn't mean just in word but in deed. He came to this world, donning humanity, so that we could relate to him and understand His character more clearly. It wasn't until God became a man that planet earth finally had 3D evidence that God is not as Satan would have us believe:
Turn to the left, turn to the right, See the Image in the night;
Look far without, look deep within, There it is again, again.
Demanding worship, while love repulsing, Arousing fear, no trust evoking.
Omnipresent, the image haunts; Who, God or Devil, invites then taunts?
Shift
What do you see as the truth becomes truer, Attributes of God become fewer and fewer?
Elimination, the process be, Weeding out all falsity.
The rotating earth, the shifting lens, Mercy without, justice within.
Synchronicity, the process be, Fusing all reality.
The cherished image, once worshipped with fear, Contorts and vanishes, no longer dear.
Iconoclasm, the process be, Crush the worshipped fantasy.
The Holy Place, once house of God, Now Devil shrine, enthrones the fraud.
Most Holy Place, new realization, In love with God, whole new sensation.
Flee the darkness, embrace the light; Say yes to hope, cease to fight.
As the Babylon falls, the paradigm shifts; Our eyes refocus, the burden lifts.
- Ty Gibson
