Your Own Personal Judas

Who is your personal Judas? Maybe you live with, gave birth to, or work for him or her. Maybe it is someone you've never even met like a world leader or a celebrity that you'd like to snuff out of existence. Now imagine what you'd do to him or her if you were alone with them in a room and even more, if you could do this and get away without even God knowing.
How do you feel right now? Do you have a sense of satisfaction? A mixture of relief and guilt? May I just suggest that no matter how you've been wronged - no matter how hideous - you have the power to overcome your "Judas" - but it comes at a heavy price. A painful and brutal price. A price that will strip your soul naked and war against every drop of your need to be justified. It will claw itself into every thought of self-preservation and peel away layer upon layer of your need to be the winner.
It is called love. And it is the only way to be set free from the oppressive hand of slander and reproach. It is the only way to release the grip of hate and grasp the hand of hope. God did it and it cost Him His life. What are you willing to give up?
