I wonder just how many Christians would stand beside their Atheist brothers and sisters in agreement? It is sad that the issue of separation of church and state has become a dirty word associated with the "godless."
As an atheist, the only thing I worry about concerning fundamentalism is not the Pledge of the Allegiance, the In God We Trust part of our coins, but rather creationism being taught in our schools and our kids having to pray at the beginning of the school day. It seems like all they want to do is use school as a method of teaching their dogma to their kids, when they should be doing that at home. I really wish something like this would happen in *Michigan* so I could get involved! Like an atheist rally or something. But noooooooooooooo it all happens in the Bible Belt :( No fun here.
