I enjoyed that movie so much. The fact that science is objectively discovering God is amazing.

The one link that I think we can add is the mechanism for how our mind is healed (they described changes that occur with negative or positive feedback to the brain). A true picture of God and an ongoing relationship with this God, who we know as Jesus, does restore our minds and re-connect the faulty synapses caused by sin and rebellion.

I love it that so many things recently are focused on the brain. Sin is not an entity which needs to be punished. Sin occurs in the minds of God's intelligent creatures. Healing is what God offers. Science is discovering that breaking the rules will rot the brain; we need to step in and say, "We have the good news that the world needs. It is about God! And, a relationship with this God and following the rules for the right reasons, because we love God and agree with his ways because they make so much sense leads to healing of the mind."
