The Devil's Propaganda

We have been duped again. Every word that has any depth, imagery, or good theology has been attacked by the Deceiver. As soon as our spiritual fathers found a way to communicate the gospel Satan plots its demise.
By a little change of meaning, a slight twist, a misapplication here and a pinch of literalism there, add a teaspoon of legalism, a cup of dogma and last, but not least, a gallon of tradition and you have it; a complete new meaning for the same old word or phrase.
Now this deformed word teaches us something other than what was intended. It can teach another gospel, give us a skewed view of God, or even become so mystical that its concepts get lost in no-where-land.
I've started a new forum dedicated to discussing words and phrases that seem too vague, too obscure, or to clichéd to mean anything at all to the average seeker. This could be a reference dictionary devoted to making the complicated simple and dispelling the myths that Satan has spun within the tradition of our thinking. Check out "Clearer Meaning" in the forums area.
I want to discuss words or phrases like: Born Again, Guilt, Shame, Saved, Sanctified, Justified, Christ in You, Perfection, Law, Grace, Covenant, Testament, and so many more.
Let's work together to define the complicated theological jargon and try to make things as simple as possible. Let's learn from each other.
I lived in Israel for 2 1/2 years and attempted to learn Modern Hebrew. I remember how frustrated I would get when people would tell stories, laugh, and I couldn't understand what they were laughing about. Let's make it easy for all of us to understand each other by all talking the same language.
What do you think? Let me know! Come check out the new forum!
Love you all,
Scott
