Miracles?

Just in two hours ago:
Thousands head to Texas to witness a portrait of Jesus with "tears" streaming down His face.
The Bible is full of miracles and so it leads one to ask "Does God still use miracles to reach people?" There is a true story of a man in the Philippines who was given a copy of the 'The Great Controversy' and spent his afternoons reading it in his backyard. Every time he began reading, a white dove would circle over the man's head. He ran to tell his neighbors who didn't believe him until they saw it for themselves.
Eventually many of the village people decided that the book must be special so they all began reading it and many became baptized as a result.
How do we know what to believe? Can't The Devil perform miracles, too? And won't we be seeing more and more of this as time goes by? What would YOU do if you neighbor came to you and beckoned you to come see her Virgin Mary painting weeping?
Didn't Christ say "a wicked and perverse people ask for miracles"? Comments?
