Word of God... How Would You Defend It?

Deut. 14:22-28 discusses the tithe and what to do with it.
Suppose your tithe is too heavy to carry with you...sell it for silver...use the silver to buy whatever you wish...it can be cattle, wheep or any kind of wine...or anything you wish....

Say someone asks you, "Well, it's ok then to take my tithe and go buy whatever I want right?"

How would you answer? Maybe you don't believe in tithing to begin with, but you still have an answer anyway right??

In the old testiment we read that the high prist needed
the support of people.
God demands his thenth! various verses in scripture piont this out. JESUS even gave acclaim to the poor widow giver and shame was put on them that gave from there abundence, but the widow gave all that she had.
Can JESUS Christ be more plain then this? I think not and we should give as GOD has given to us.

Yes but are we to take our tithe and buy strong drink with it? Is it okay if we can't make it to church to go buy a six-pack of beer with our tithe??
